I’m oncologic surgeon in cancer center since 13 years. I worked at Gustave Roussy Institute (Paris) during 7 years and at West Oncologic Institute (Nantes) since 2015. My topic in palliative oncology are urgent abdominal surgery in a palliative setting (2 publications, regular course in university diploma). My second topic is the pressurized intraperitoneal aerosol chemotherapy (PIPAC). I’m french national coordonator of multicentric phase I/II study (PIPOX 01) assessing this treatment for advanced peritoneal carcinomatosis of gastro-intestinal tract. The phase I of the study is finished and is in process for publication. I work as french coordinator with my Belgium and German colleague for an European project of PIPAC. This important project is for patient in a palliative setting and include one phase I study, and 2 phase II randomized study comparing best systemic chemotherapy vs PIPAC for patients with advanced peritoneal carcinomatosis. The main objectives are the survival and secondary objectives are the quality of life. An important translationnal research will be associated. I can present these works in the congress and coordinate session on peritoneal carcinomatosis, my main topic of expertise.
